OLDI&CO Ltd

Oldi&Co Ltd. was set up in October 1996 as a family business headed by two brothers Oleg and Dima, that is why the company got its name - OL (Oleg) DI (Dima). The firm was established without the participation of foreign capital. 

Oldi & Co has started it's enterprise working with a certain group of goods: in the range were well represented parts of engine and transmission. Working with this group of commodities required in-depth knowledge and technical training, therefore, much attention was paid to technical training and education - we often went on exhibitions, attended various colleagues workshops in Europe, adopting the experience of nods and components repair and restore. There, we really got a lot of valuable information and have accumulated the necessary technical expertise for the successful further development.

Initially the company focused on selling spare parts for Volvo and Scania trucks , and later we started to offer also spare parts for buses and trucks, such as: Mercedes, Man; Daf, Iveco, Renault, as well as trailers and semi trailers with axles BPW, SAF, ROR, Trailor, SMB, SCHMITS etc.

Developing trade, "Oldi&Co" Ltd decided to supplement their services offering service station as well, which in January 2000 was opened in Riga, Lubanas 51 street (near the Slavic Bridge). Later the main office, as well as Riga's main store and warehouse mooved there. In the first years of service station working we had to deal with the difficulties of our services, which arose due to lack of experience. Forming a highly professional team of car mechanic, auto electrician and motor mechanics, we saw that the service has confirmed its right to a viable and helps to develop the trade. Service station provides the warranty works for nods and components that we sell today as well, and also offers a wide range of its services.

Since 2001, OLDI & CO has its proposals to expand the market outside of Riga and established its offices in regional cities. In the future the number of regional branches has grown steadily throughout the territory of Latvia in order to ensure better quality and prompt supply of our services. In August 2001, OLDI&CO opens its first branch in Rezekne at Yupatovskas 1/3A street. And in January 2002 according to costumers numerous requests OLDI&CO opened its shop in Riga's Pardaugava (at Jurkalnes 6 street), thereby facilitating collaboration with costumers located in other side of town.

So, at the moment, "Oldi&Co" Ltd owns 14 stores throughout the territory of Latvia. There is a warehouse in each brunch consisting of popular parts and accessories, which is regularly updated.

In order to ensure the firm's clients with necessary parts for repairs in the shortest time, it was decided to establish a firm transportation department, which guaranteed and promptly delivers parts from Europe. In February 2002 the first VOLVO car and tent trailer were bought. At present the company owns 11 trucks and has TIR-carnet. OLDI&CO trucks can be loaded not only by its freight. The company willingly takes carry goods for other companies in Europe-Latvia-Russia directions.

During these years the company's development achieved a high level of professionalism, increased range of clients and service offerings. Especially 'd like to mention our service station, where employs highly skilled mechanics and electricians, so the service OLDI&CO can offer a wide range of services. Also there are modern equipments and various devices  in the service that can do qualitive and different repairs.  

Today there ae more than 100 employees in the OLDI&CO.

The range of stores is over 17 thousand items of spare parts and automotive products (accessories).  This range allows to trade not only in retail but also wholesale.

Buyers can be granted with free delivery of ordered goods to the relevant region, under certain conditions of purchase. By saling and consulting clients our employees use all kinds of electronic catalogs, technical literature and our experience.

Our stuff attend various skill development seminars regulary. Great importance in our work devotes to spare part issue. Experience of staff and a wide range of commodities namely allows us to create a proposal that will satisfy the most demanding customer.
